Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
1 January 2026
Partners in Packaging Machine Systems Limited, trading as PiP Automation, is committed to conducting its business responsibly and ethically and to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place within our business or supply chain.
Modern slavery can take many forms, including forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking, servitude and other forms of exploitation. We recognise our responsibility to remain alert to these risks and to take reasonable steps to prevent them.
Our business
PiP Automation designs, manufactures, installs and supports automation equipment for the food manufacturing and packaging industries.
Our employees include engineering, manufacturing, service and sales personnel. Some employees travel on company business and work at customer sites throughout the UK and overseas. We are committed to ensuring that everyone working for or on behalf of PiP Automation is treated fairly, safely and with respect.
Our supply chain
Our supply chain primarily consists of suppliers of engineering components, electrical and pneumatic equipment, fabricated parts and other goods and services used in the manufacture and support of our machinery.
We expect our suppliers and business partners to comply with applicable employment and human rights legislation and to share our commitment to preventing forced labour, human trafficking and other forms of modern slavery.
We will not knowingly conduct business with any organisation involved in slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour or human trafficking.
Our approach
We seek to reduce the risk of modern slavery within our business and supply chain by:
- working with established and reputable suppliers;
- maintaining appropriate relationships and oversight of our key suppliers;
- expecting suppliers to comply with applicable employment, labour and human rights laws;
- encouraging employees to raise any concerns about unethical or unlawful conduct; and
- investigating any concerns relating to modern slavery or exploitation that are brought to our attention.
Where concerns are identified, we will take appropriate action, which may include reviewing or terminating the relevant supplier or business relationship.
Our commitment
We recognise that preventing modern slavery requires continued awareness and vigilance. We will continue to review our business practices and supply chain relationships and take proportionate action where we identify potential risks.
This statement is published voluntarily and demonstrates our commitment to responsible and ethical business practices.
