Tray denesters
Every tray denesting problem is different. So are our denesters.
A tray denester automatically separates trays from a nested stack and places them individually onto a production line, ready for filling or further processing. Manual tray placing is hard to staff and harder to justify, but no single machine suits every tray, speed and depth. We developed a range in which each machine answers a different problem, so you choose around your production, not around a specification sheet.
Choose by problem, not by brochure.
A Series and AS Series
Flexible, cost-effective intermittent denesting across mixed products and lines, with servo control when the application, speed or lane configuration demands it.
See the A and AS SeriesR Series
High-speed feeding and placing for shallow trays, boards, cards and other relatively flat products, at up to 400 products per minute.
See the R SeriesC Series
High-speed denesting when the product is too deep for a conventional rotary system, handling trays and pots up to approximately 90 mm.
See the C SeriesB Series pot denester
Reliable separation of deep pots and tubs that conventional denesters struggle with, without damaging the rims.
See the B SeriesWhich denester do I need?
Run mixed products and frequent changeovers? Start with the A Series, and step up to the AS Series where motion control, independent twin lanes or the running cost of compressed air matters. Shallow formats at real speed belong on the R Series. Deep trays at speed belong on the C Series. Deep pots belong on the B Series.
Whichever machine fits, the changeover philosophy is the same across the range: factory-set quick-change masks that swap formats in minutes, so the machine you buy for this product is ready for the next one.

Quick answers
Which denester do I need for deep trays?
Deep trays at speed belong on the C Series, which handles trays and pots up to approximately 90 mm deep at up to 60 machine cycles per minute. The deepest pots, with little or no draught angle, belong on the B Series pot denester.
Which is the fastest denester?
For shallow products up to around 25 mm, the R Series rotary denester places up to 400 products per minute on suitable small formats. Deeper or more varied products run on the A, AS or C Series at rates set by the machine and magazine configuration.
Which denester suits mixed products and frequent changeovers?
The A Series, with the AS Series where servo control, twin-lane independence or moving away from compressed air matters. Every PiP denester uses factory-set quick-change masks, so format changes take minutes across the whole range.
Will your tray denest reliably?
Packaging dimensions alone do not tell us how well a tray will separate. Wall angle, flange design, material, surface finish, denesting features and manufacturing consistency can all affect performance. That is why PiP tests the actual production packaging wherever possible before finalising the machine solution.
Send us your trays. We will test them on our rig and show you how they behave.
Not sure which machine fits?
Send us the tray and the production requirement. We will tell you which machine we would build, and prove it on the rig.
